🇧🇷Para traduzir a ideia do livro, pesquisamos duas frentes: símbolos icônicos do funk do Rio de Janeiro e a história gráfica de pôsteres de filmes de zumbis. Deste segundo, usamos como base para a estética e estilo. Pinceladas um poucos soltas para o aspecto de tradicional, muita sujeira e grão para emular a tela. Já a primeira linha de pesquisa nos forneceu o que inserir nas ilustrações. O paredão atrás da protagonista na capa, por exemplo, é inspirado no Furacão 2000.
A tipografia se baseia no calor do Rio de Janeiro e também em sangue escorrendo.
🇺🇸To translate the idea of the book, we researched two fronts: iconic symbols of funk in Rio de Janeiro and the graphic history of zombie movie posters. From this second, we use it as a basis for aesthetics and style. Strokes a little loose for the traditional look, lots of dirt and grain to emulate the canvas. The first line of research provided us with what to insert in the illustrations. The wall behind the protagonist on the cover, for example, is inspired by "Furacão 2000".
The typography is based on the heat of Rio de Janeiro and also on dripping blood.

🇧🇷Na contracapa colocamos ainda mais elementos da cultura do Rio de Janeiro, e alguns da cultura brasileira como um todo: como o mini botijão de gás na mão de um dos personagens (objeto usado geralmente por encanadores para derreter os canos). Assim como o bondinho caído ao fundo, uma van de transporte à esquerda e o vinho barato na mão da protagonista.
🇺🇸On the back cover we put even more elements of the culture of Rio de Janeiro, and some of the Brazilian culture as a whole: like the mini gas cylinder in the hand of one of the characters (an object usually used by plumbers to melt pipes). As well as the fallen cable car in the background, a transport van on the left and the cheap wine in the protagonist's hand.
